Global Governance Operations Leader

About the role

3M is hiring a Global Governance Operations Leader who will manage day-to-day operational market-to-order governance decisions and lead the transformation of business group-driven end-to-end price waterfall strategy and guardrails for margin and growth management. The role suits candidates coming from private, public, government or military experience and offers a chance to move into a 3M career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational market-to-order governance decisions.
• Transform business group-driven end-to-end price waterfall strategy and guardrails for margin and growth management.
• Lead compliance through a governance process and system that collects evidence, gives margin impact visibility and manages required approvals consistently, meeting SOX requirements.
• Report governance outcomes and margin impacts to executive teams including finance.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in MTO processes, standardizing strategy and governance across new technologies to increase efficiency and transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least five years of pricing operations, incentive program management and/or operations in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
• Relocation is not authorized; the role is on-site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN at least four days a week, with possible remote work if based in Panama and travel of up to 20% domestic or international.

Required skills

• Strong business acumen, able to turn analysis into actionable governance recommendations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, balancing business requests with compliance, process and financial considerations.
• Process management champion.
• Nice to have: Master's degree in business, marketing, operations or supply chain; Certified Pricing Professional (CPP).
