Senior Finance Manager, AI & Infrastructure

About the role

Atlassian is looking for a strategic, highly analytical Finance professional to own financial planning and management for its rapidly evolving AI infrastructure and token finance. The role covers forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling for the Central AI team, specifically infrastructure and token consumption, working closely with Engineering, Product, Business Operations and other Finance leadership. It is open to candidates in Seattle, San Francisco and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic Finance business partner for Central AI, partnering with Engineering, Product and BizOps, and influencing investment, product and operating decisions.
• Own financial planning and modeling for AI infrastructure and token spend, including forecasting, annual and long-range planning, scenario modeling and ad hoc analyses.
• Build a deep understanding of AI economics and business drivers such as adoption, usage, token consumption, model mix, infrastructure requirements, vendor pricing and efficiency levers, translating them into COGS, unit economics and gross margin implications.
• Drive process improvements and scale current financial models, data and tooling, in partnership with Cloud FinOps.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience with complex financial modeling, driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, budgeting and long-range planning.
• Software industry experience and familiarity with cloud infrastructure and cloud provider economics, able to turn technical cost drivers into financial outcomes.
• Experience with LLM/token economics and the AI ecosystem, or comparable consumption-based technology models.
• Ability to work independently through ambiguity and communicate complex financial and technical topics clearly to executives.

• Base pay ranges for new hires: Zone A $168,300-$219,725, Zone B $151,470-$197,753, Zone C $139,689-$182,372.
