Full Stack Developer – Front‑end Focus

About the role

Matrix Retail is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong front‑end emphasis to design and deliver scalable software solutions for specialty retailers. You will join a cross‑functional team responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design client‑side and server‑side architecture and build responsive front‑end interfaces.
• Develop, manage, and scale databases and APIs using Python frameworks (Flask, Sanic) and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
• Write clean, testable code, create technical documentation, and ensure security and data‑protection settings.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software in production.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and quickly master new web technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and solid communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Modern JavaScript (React, Ember.js, SCSS).
• Python back‑end development (Flask, Sanic).
• SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Linux server administration, Docker, Kubernetes.
• UI/UX best practices and mobile‑responsive design.
