Founding Marketing Lead – Build AI Platform Marketing

About the role

As the Founding Marketing Lead at Cara, you will build and own the entire marketing function from the ground up, shaping how the domain‑specific AI platform for insurance is positioned, communicated and scaled across agencies, brokerages and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end marketing, including product marketing, content, events, brand and sales enablement.
• Define go‑to‑market strategy and launch new features, ensuring strong adoption and clear value articulation.
• Equip the GTM team with high‑impact assets and enterprise deal support materials.
• Create and scale thought‑leadership content across channels to drive awareness and inbound demand.
• Own strategy and execution of industry conferences, webinars, hosted dinners and field events to generate pipeline.
• Conduct customer interviews, synthesize feedback and translate insights into sharper messaging and product input.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy or a related GTM role in B2B SaaS, AI, fintech or insurtech.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a generalist across multiple marketing disciplines.
• Strong capability to translate technical or AI‑powered products into clear business value for executive and operational audiences.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product and sales teams in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Bonus: experience marketing to insurance agencies, brokerages or financial services organizations.
