About the role
Join the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital as a Food Service Worker. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, serving and distributing meals to patients, staff and visitors while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, serve and distribute food to customers, clients and employees.
- Operate and maintain specialized food service equipment.
- Perform general facility and equipment sanitation in line with federal, state and departmental guidelines.
- Act as the lead worker for the food service team.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least one year of experience in a high‑volume or hospital‑type food service environment.
- Ability to work day shifts on‑site at the Columbus location.
