About the role
The Supervisor at Lake Club will lead the front‑of‑house and bar teams, ensure exceptional service, maintain food and beverage quality, and create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to deliver a refined, personalized dining experience in a club setting.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the clubhouse dining team, including servers, bartenders, bussers, and hosts, providing direction, training, and constructive feedback.
- Oversee daily operations of the dining room and bar, manage schedules, monitor staff performance, and ensure efficient, smooth‑flowing service.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service while addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain the highest standards in food and beverage presentation and order accuracy.
- Manage front‑of‑house and bar inventory, order supplies, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular inventory checks.
- Ensure compliance with state and local alcohol laws, verify guest IDs, and uphold responsible service practices.
- Provide ongoing training on service standards, menu knowledge, POS systems, and safety procedures.
- Oversee cash handling, balance cash drawers, and manage POS systems accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar areas, coordinating with cleaning and maintenance staff.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, private functions, and other activities at Lake Club.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience.
- At least 1 year in a leadership service role or similar capacity.
- Strong leadership ability with a focus on training and accountability.
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and ability to handle long hours.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during busy periods.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items over 50 lb, and work in all weather conditions.
