About the role
The Floating Assistant Community Manager supports multiple residential communities by assisting on‑site Community Managers, ensuring resident satisfaction, and helping drive operational success across Greystar properties.
Key responsibilities
- Assist day‑to‑day operations of several properties, overseeing maintenance, vendor relationships and service contracts.
- Serve as primary point of contact for residents, handling inquiries, concerns and coordinating community events.
- Support leasing activities including property tours, application processing and lease documentation.
- Help with financial tasks such as rent collection, budget tracking and expense management, collaborating with accounting for accurate reporting.
- Perform administrative duties: answer phones, manage email correspondence and keep records up‑to‑date.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and address maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and adapt quickly to changing community assignments.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn community specifics, including unit mix, amenities and market conditions.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adjust to changing assignments.
- Organized, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
