About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for a residential community in Somerset, NJ. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention targets while delivering a high‑quality leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales and leasing activities: greet prospects, qualify leads, give tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, prepare lease packages, and ensure smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.
