Flight Operations Manager

About the role

The Flight Operations Manager will lead the Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program for Department of State INLA customers, overseeing training fleet operations and ensuring safe, efficient support for aviation missions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the operations of a training fleet and ensure compliance with customer standards and training procedures.
• Lead the operations team, directing aircrew, security, life‑support equipment, and other personnel.
• Coordinate Air Tasking Requests and training missions to meet contract requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly operational reports, including flight hour usage and mission status.
• Serve as the Operations subject‑matter expert and act as Country Site Manager when required.
• Perform flight duties as an Instructor Pilot or Maintenance Pilot in INLA aircraft.
• Collaborate with maintenance and logistics to ensure aircraft and equipment readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing aviation operations and training fleets.
• Instructor Pilot qualifications and ability to conduct flight training.
• Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal functional leaders.
