Logistics Specialist – Safety Support Center (Bilingual French)

About the role

The Logistics Specialist joins Ecolab’s EVD Safety Support Center to provide real‑time safety and logistics support for chemical deliveries across the customer network. Working in a fast‑paced inbound‑calls environment, you will help prevent delivery incidents by reviewing shipment data and making safety‑based decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage daily inbound calls from English‑ and French‑speaking customers regarding delivery verification and safety checks.
• Review shipment, tank, and system information to approve or halt deliveries based on safety and compliance criteria.
• Guide callers through troubleshooting steps and navigation of the EVD application.
• Document all interactions, decisions, and outcomes in tracking systems.
• Create and manage IT incident tickets and Delivery Action Requests (DARs) to resolve system or documentation issues.
• Coordinate with field teams, account representatives, and third‑party carriers to resolve delivery problems.
• Respond to Chemtrec alerts for in‑transit incidents, damaged packages, or chemical events and assist with escalations.
• Generate and maintain delivery compliance and safety data for reporting and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Fluent in both English and French with strong verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Comfortable learning and using enterprise software tools.
• Interest in logistics, safety, and chemical delivery operations.
