Financial Analyst - Hybrid

About the role

Ochsner is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and reporting for its healthcare operations. Working under moderate supervision, the analyst will support monthly financial statements, strategic projects, and the budgeting process while responding to ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain financial information and databases.
• Provide reporting and analytics to ensure operational profitability.
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
• Participate in budget formation and quality‑assurance activities.
• Contribute to professional‑development initiatives and special projects involving financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• CPA certification or actively testing for certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and communication skills.
