Finance Director – TEBG Commercial

About the role

The Finance Director – TEBG Commercial is a senior business‑finance leader within 3M’s Transportation and Electronics Business Group (TEBG). Reporting to the Global Commercial leader, you will drive profitable growth, improve cash conversion, and shape the three‑year strategic financial plan for the commercial portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Commercial leader and senior leadership to develop and execute the three‑year strategic financial plan, including resource prioritization.
• Drive commercial excellence by monitoring pricing strategy, DSO improvement, ROI of marketing activities, and shareholder returns.
• Provide financial rigor to strategic planning, translate plans into operational actions, and ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to implement standard work, process improvements, and AI‑enabled data analytics across global commercial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Leadership experience of at least three years at division, area or country level.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and ability to influence across a global organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for data analytics and process optimization.
• Advanced data analytics and risk‑management analysis capabilities.
