Risk & Resilience Manager

About the role

The Risk & Resilience Manager supports the execution and maturation of 3M’s enterprise risk management (ERM) program. This position works closely with business units, compliance, audit and other stakeholders to translate risk data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the ERM framework, including taxonomy, assessment methodology, governance routines and reporting tools.
• Plan, coordinate and execute risk assessments, document results and track mitigation actions.
• Partner with risk owners and enterprise functions to identify, evaluate, monitor and report risks.
• Analyze risk data, emerging trends and key risk indicators to surface themes and potential issues.
• Prepare dashboards, summaries and management updates that turn complex risk information into clear insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, finance, economics or a related field (completed prior to start).
• At least five years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management, intelligence analysis, crisis management or related risk functions in private, public, government or military environments.
• Experience with ERM platforms, risk taxonomy development and executive‑level reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using SharePoint and AI‑enabled data analysis.
• Familiarity with risk management systems and governance, risk and compliance platforms.
