About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology for residential customers in Monroe, NC. You will combine technical know‑how with a consultative sales approach to ensure homes are safe, connected, and energy‑efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security and energy savings.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Comfortable working independently in residential settings.
• Willingness to learn sales techniques and product knowledge.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Home automation system installation and troubleshooting.
