Field Marketing Manager (Chicago)

About the role

Aikido Security is seeking a hands‑on Field Marketing Manager to expand its presence within the developer and security communities. Based in Chicago, you will own end‑to‑end event execution, community engagement, and regional campaigns that drive pipeline and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and run regional events such as meetups, dinners, roundtables, and developer‑focused gatherings.
• Manage Aikido’s participation at industry conferences (e.g., Black Hat, RSA, DevOps events) including logistics, speaker coordination, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Collaborate with sales to design events that generate qualified pipeline and support account‑based marketing initiatives.
• Partner with developer communities, startup hubs, and security meetups to increase brand visibility.
• Work with partnerships and account executives to identify target accounts and co‑host joint campaigns.
• Translate event outcomes into content, social media assets, and brand moments.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in field, event, or community marketing.
• Proven track record supporting B2B SaaS products, especially for developer or security audiences.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, product, and partnership teams.
