About the role
Circle K is hiring a Field Inventory Auditor based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The auditor verifies merchandise, cash and other assets across the company's stores through physical counts and on-site checks, and travels between cities to perform audits.
Key responsibilities
- Verify merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer.
- Notify the store manager of wrong prices and remove out-of-code merchandise.
- Count and verify cash assets on site.
- Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
- Verify gasoline inventory.
- Perform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
- Travel to and from different cities for audits; occasional overnight travel may be required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
- Valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
- Able to work independently with little supervision and to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
