Executive Recruiter (Full-time, Austin)

About the role

Sanctuary is building nature‑first residential communities in the Texas Hill Country and is entering a rapid growth phase. The Executive Recruiter will own end‑to‑end executive hiring, building a market from scratch to attract senior leaders across operations, finance, development, construction and capital markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead executive and senior leadership searches, creating targeted market maps across real‑estate development, construction, finance, sales and operations.
• Source and directly approach high‑performing, often passive, candidates through calls, referrals, events, LinkedIn, email and other channels.
• Represent Sanctuary to senior candidates, selling the mission, opportunity and leadership team with genuine conviction.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team throughout interviews, decisions, offers and negotiations.
• Manage each candidate from first contact through acceptance and onboarding, ensuring relentless follow‑up.
• Build and maintain a long‑term network of executives, operators, investors, developers, brokers and industry leaders across Austin and Texas.

Required profile

• Significant experience in agency recruitment, executive search or a similar role where you owned the hunt.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing senior leaders such as COOs, Sales Directors, CFOs or senior finance, construction and development executives.
• Existing relationships across Austin and Texas real‑estate, construction, finance or executive networks.
• Exceptional communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities, with strong cold‑outreach skills.
• Comfort working directly with a demanding, fast‑moving CEO and operating without constant direction.

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
• Performance bonus with total compensation potential of $200,000–$300,000 annually, depending on experience and results.
