EPC Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar & Storage

About the role

SunEnergy1 is seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead utility‑scale PV solar, battery storage, and repowering projects in North Carolina. You will oversee projects from pre‑construction through completion, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team including Project Engineers and Construction Management staff, applying the company’s Principle Based Management Philosophy.
• Develop and maintain accurate project forecasts, schedules, and risk registers in collaboration with Project Controls, Scheduling, and Supply Chain teams.
• Coordinate with Business Development and Estimating to produce competitive project estimates.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify strategic opportunities for long‑term collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory/leadership experience managing EPC, large‑scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and customer engagement.
• Understanding of prime contract and subcontract language.
• Valid driver’s license.
