Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Projects

About the role

Stacy Witbeck is expanding its Water/Wastewater team in Southern California and is looking for a Project Manager to lead projects from estimating through construction. This permanent, onsite position offers the chance to work for an employee‑owned firm with a strong reputation for quality, trust and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and financial performance.
• Manage contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders and schedule updates.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost control, revenue forecasting and monthly financial projections.
• Coordinate design reviews, constructability, value engineering and permit acquisition.
• Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, field coordinators and subcontractors.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience managing heavy civil or water/wastewater projects valued at $20 million or more.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, project budgets, cost forecasting and change order processes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Southern California.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project management software such as Primavera, P6, Smartsheet, Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, ProCore, Microsoft Teams.
