Employment Supervisor

About the role

The Employment Supervisor leads a team delivering comprehensive employment services to refugees and other clients, ensuring grant deliverables such as job training, placement, wage, and retention are met. This role combines office, remote, and field work, supervising staff, managing data, and maintaining employer partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct service staff through supervision, coaching, and workload management.
• Oversee program implementation including assessment, self‑sufficiency planning, job readiness training, job search, placement, and post‑placement support.
• Maintain relationships with local employers and community partners to secure job opportunities.
• Monitor progress toward grant deliverables, conduct quality assurance reviews, and prepare program reports.
• Manage budget spending, ensure compliance with agency policies, and coordinate cross‑team client wellbeing.

Required profile

• University degree in International Studies, Business, Social Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting clients facing employment barriers in refugee resettlement or workforce development.
• Proven supervisory experience with staff training and performance management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional language a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.
