Employment Program Supervisor

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Employment Program Supervisor to lead its Matching Grant (MG) and Refugee Social Services (RSS) employment initiatives. This fixed‑term position, ending on September 30, 2027, will ensure program performance, compliance, and sustainability while directly supervising a team of direct‑service staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise direct‑service staff through regular team meetings, individual supervision, and performance feedback.
• Oversee staff workload, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Ensure all program activities meet funder and contract requirements, stay within budget, and comply with agency policies.
• Track client enrollment and service delivery using proprietary database systems, guaranteeing timely documentation.
• Maintain communication on complex cases, intervene professionally, and promote gender equality.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with local employers and community partners.
• Support program sustainability through grant writing and strategic development.
