Dock Supervisor

About the role

The Dock Supervisor will manage dock and dispatch operations at the Wilson, NC Service Center on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 9:00 AM), ensuring safe and efficient handling of LTL loads.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate dock operations and driver/freight‑handler scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Timely dispatching of LTL loads and other duties assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience, preferably in LTL environments.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced setting with strong organizational, communication and logistical skills.
• Knowledge of the local area and surrounding regions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Computer literacy and basic problem‑solving abilities.
