Part-Time Forklift Operator

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part‑time Forklift Operators at our Wilson, NC service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
• Read manifests and interact with computer displays to track shipments.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Experience operating a forklift in a fast‑pace environment.
• Dependable and able to work efficiently under time pressure.
