Director of Project Management – Utility-Scale Solar, EPC

About the role

The Director of Project Management is responsible for overall project delivery of utility‑scale solar EPC projects at the site level. This role has full accountability for schedule, budget, contract execution, and client satisfaction from Notice to Proceed (NTP) through Commercial Operation Date (COD).

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of on‑site EPC projects ranging from 20 MW to 500 MW+, coordinating construction, engineering, procurement and commissioning.
• Own and manage the master project schedule, critical path, milestones, budgets, forecasts and cost controls, driving variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Administer EPC contracts, manage change orders, claims and dispute resolution while protecting project margins.
• Direct project controls, performance reporting and KPI tracking, providing regular updates to executive leadership and clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks across schedule, cost, supply chain and execution, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing relationships with utilities, regulators and third‑party stakeholders and leading project meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field (preferred).
• 10–15+ years of project management experience on utility‑scale solar or large infrastructure EPC projects.
• Proven track record managing full‑lifecycle EPC contracts from NTP to COD.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling and cost management practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6, Procore or MS Project.
