Director of Organic Growth - SEO, AEO & CRO (Remote)

About the role

Rula is a remote‑first mental health company seeking a senior leader to own and scale its organic growth engine across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Reporting to the Head of Brand & Integrated Marketing, you will define the multi‑year vision, roadmap and revenue impact for these channels.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and execute a full‑funnel organic strategy, including site architecture innovation, enterprise‑grade structured data and zero‑click share‑of‑voice.
• Lead an always‑on CRO framework to refine high‑intent conversion pathways and maximize patient acquisition.
• Partner with Engineering, Product and Design to prioritize technical investments that improve discoverability, performance and compliance.
• Align PR, Lifecycle, Clinical and Compliance teams to ensure growth mechanisms are technically robust, clinically authoritative and HIPAA/WCAG compliant.
• Build, mentor and scale a high‑performing organic growth organization and agency network.
• Own P&L for organic growth, forecasting, capital allocation and ROI tracking.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in organic search/SEO with measurable business outcomes.
• 5+ years of people‑leadership experience building and scaling teams.
• 8+ years of deep expertise in technical SEO and AI‑native discovery (AEO) and proven CRO ownership.
• Comfort operating in rapidly evolving AI‑driven discovery landscapes.

• Automation, AI and programmatic content scaling.
• JavaScript rendering, CMS architectures, APIs, schema markup, server‑side and edge rendering.
• Evaluation and selection of SEO/AEO/CRO tooling and vendors.
