Director of Data Science - Patient Experience (Remote)

About the role

Lead analyses to develop product features that address key consumer pain points, collaborating with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data engineers. This player‑coach position guides a dedicated data science team while also driving your own projects that directly impact mental health care access.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a data science team in analyzing business and product performance, designing experiments, and informing product planning.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable product decisions.
• Develop and own metrics for retention, conversion, engagement, churn, and marketplace balance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data analytics or data science supporting multiple business functions.
• Proven people‑management experience building and developing talent.
• Strong ability to communicate technical insights to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Expertise in Python and/or SQL.
• Experience with statistical analysis, A/B testing, and product analytics.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
