Director, Health Plans (Account Executive)

About the role

As Director, Health Plans you will own the full account relationship, acting as both the account executive and day‑to‑day success owner for health‑plan clients. This hands‑on role requires independent analysis, relationship building and driving growth and retention in a fast‑moving, startup‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for an assigned book of health‑plan accounts, developing and nurturing relationships.
• Increase customer engagement through proactive check‑ins, understand evolving needs and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Build account‑level analysis including enrollment and portfolio data, opportunity sizing, and client‑ready materials.
• Facilitate or host webinars with experts to enhance product knowledge.
• Monitor contract renewals and proactively engage clients to secure renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data/Analytics or related field.
• Analyst‑caliber background with ability to work directly with data (Excel, SQL, BI tools) (1‑3 years).
• Prior experience in a startup or lean, high‑ownership environment (1‑3 years).
• Proven experience as an Account Executive, Customer Success Manager or similar client‑facing role (2‑4 years).
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with results‑driven focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
