Developer Community Manager

About the role

Rerun is building the data layer for physical AI and needs a Developer Community Manager to give its growing robotics and AI community a heartbeat. You will design and run programs that bring engineers, researchers, and builders together both online and in person.

Key responsibilities

• Map the physical AI landscape to identify cities, labs, companies and communities active in the space.
• Design and execute developer events ranging from small meet‑ups and hack nights to larger industry conferences.
• Create recurring programs that provide real content and social touch points for the community.
• Partner with engineering and the founding team to develop technical content for events.
• Represent Rerun at conferences, meet‑ups and with key open‑source contributors.
• Coordinate closely with the founding team in Sweden and later with the VP of Marketing in San Francisco.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of field or community marketing experience, especially event planning.
• Hands‑on experience organizing meet‑ups, hackathons, workshops or conferences.
• Track record of building recurring programs rather than one‑off events.
• Experience working closely with founders, engineering teams and developer/open‑source communities.
• Strong hospitality instincts and ability to curate events.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time and genuine curiosity about robotics and physical AI.
