About the role

Active Dental is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join its Texas practice. The role involves providing four‑handed clinical assistance, managing operatory flow, and ensuring a welcoming experience for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, reduce dental anxiety, and communicate chairside instructions clearly.
• Assist the provider with restorative and diagnostic procedures using efficient four‑handed dentistry.
• Take high‑quality digital X‑rays and manage rapid setup and breakdown of treatment rooms.
• Maintain strict sterilization protocols and ensure operatory cleanliness.
• Document treatment notes accurately, manage clinical charts, and educate patients on oral health.
• Participate in morning huddles, coordinate with the lab, and handle opening/closing duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional dental assisting experience.
• Active Registered Dental Assistant license in Texas.
• Full availability for the set schedule, including Friday and Saturday half‑days.
