Cybersecurity Auditor

About the role

Telos Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Auditor to perform assessments, inspections and compliance reviews for government customers. The role supports the protection of critical IT assets across cyber, cloud and enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, Security Assistance Visits (SAVs) and compliance reviews in line with NIST RMF, AF IC, DoW, DAF and Intelligence Community requirements.
• Review system security documentation, technical artifacts and control implementations to verify compliance.
• Validate management, operational and technical security controls through documentation review, interviews, observation and technical testing.
• Produce Security Assessment Reports (SARs), risk analyses and remediation recommendations.
• Utilize Xacta and Xacta.ai for assessment planning, control evaluation and workflow management, independently validating AI‑assisted analysis.
• Assess continuous monitoring, vulnerability management and recurring control assessments, identifying gaps and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 6 years of experience.
• Current DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II or IAM Level III (or successor) certification.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance for sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % worldwide.
• Eligibility for drug testing and compliance with a drug‑free workplace.
