Cross‑Trained Dental Assistant

About the role

Active Dental is seeking a high‑energy, cross‑trained Dental Assistant to provide both chairside clinical support and front‑office assistance across its modern DFW locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide four‑handed dentistry support, prepare and stock treatment rooms, and take digital radiographs.
• Assist the hygiene team with preventative treatments and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Oversee sterilization, lab coordination, and clinical inventory management.
• Support front‑desk duties, including scheduling and patient communication, and help with opening and closing procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional dental assisting experience.
• Enthusiasm for or experience in front‑office cross‑training (scheduling, patient communication).
• Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and commitment to clinical compliance.
• Integrity, openness to feedback, and a positive, warm demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental software.
• Experience operating digital imaging systems.
