Crop Claims Field Adjuster I – Wisconsin (Remote)

About the role

Zurich is seeking a RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to serve farmers and ranchers in Wisconsin from a home‑based office. The role involves field inspections, claim analysis, and communication with claimants across a 100‑mile radius.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss crop loss findings with farmers.
• Gather factual information, apply relevant regulations, and transmit loss data to determine indemnities.
• Review and audit claims from lower‑level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of agricultural experience.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Physical ability to walk up to 3 miles in fields, climb bins up to 25 ft, and lift 25‑50 lb.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
