Community Manager – Multifamily Property, Morgan Hill

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Vida community, a 387‑unit garden‑style property in Morgan Hill, California. The role involves leading a large on‑site team, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations, including rent collection, invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Supervise property staff: hiring, training, performance management, and daily task coordination.
• Maintain resident satisfaction through prompt response to service requests, complaints, and lease enforcement.
• Oversee vendor relationships, approve invoices, and ensure proper insurance and coding.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 5+ years of Community Manager experience in multifamily housing, including lease‑up and ownership transition projects.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operational initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and other multifamily regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite and database management tools.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site transportation.
• All state and local licensing or certifications required for property management.
