Community Manager – Vida (Morgan Hill, CA)

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Vida apartment community in Morgan Hill, managing staff, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and ensure rent collection and timely bank deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, manage petty cash, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Enforce lease terms, process applications, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends to create leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by responding to complaints, service requests, and ensuring property upkeep.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate property staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property‑management experience, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management tools.
