Land Survey Project Manager

About the role

The Land Survey Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of land survey and zoning projects for Bureau Veritas. This remote position requires managing teams of field staff and vendors, ensuring technical quality, and maintaining high client satisfaction across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall direction, completion, and budget of assigned survey projects, both single‑site and multi‑site.
• Lead a team of project staff and external vendors, providing technical guidance, conducting reviews, and delivering training as needed.
• Represent Bureau Veritas in pre‑bid meetings, short‑list interviews, and project kick‑off calls.
• Review and quality‑check ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and Zoning Reports nationwide.
• Monitor project performance using metrics such as WIP, CARs, and fee grids, and report progress to leadership and clients.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and client‑facing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Experience supervising field staff and vendors, including coaching, performance reviews, and capacity planning.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and commercial zoning reports.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to operate electronic tablets for live field data collection.
• Understanding of fiscal processes related to project budgeting and billing.
