Project Assessor – Facility Condition Assessments

About the role

The Project Assessor leads the direction, completion, and outcome of building assessment projects in line with ASTM standards and client scopes. The role combines on‑site field work with detailed reporting and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate project status and issues to the leadership team, ensuring timely updates on report delivery.
• Conduct a wide range of building assessments, including Property Condition Assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Facility Condition Assessments, energy audits, and accessibility reviews.
• Perform physical surveys of major building systems, structures, roofs, and exterior elements, documenting deficiencies and measuring quantities for cost estimation.
• Interview owners, tenants, service providers, and local authorities to gather relevant information.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports using field notes, photographs, and interview data, adapting scope and technical writing to each project.
• Review property records, repair histories, and regulatory documents to support findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project‑management tools.
