Clinical Concierge – Medical Assistant

About the role

The Clinical Concierge – Medical Assistant serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience. This hybrid administrative and clinical position supports providers, coordinates care, and maintains accurate patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient check‑in/check‑out, verify insurance, collect payments and schedule appointments.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and compliance.
• Measure and document vital signs, collect lab specimens, and assist with examinations.
• Administer medications and vaccinations per provider orders within scope of practice.
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms, stock supplies, and support patient procedures.
• Conduct follow‑up calls within 2‑3 days post‑discharge.

Required profile

• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant or completion of LVPG Medical Assistant Trainee course.
• Strong multitasking, organizational and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, empathy and customer‑service skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Microsoft Word and Excel competence.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
