Child Support Services Agent 2 – State of Georgia

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to establish and enforce child support obligations, coordinate activities with legal and public organizations, and manage a caseload. This position reports to the Child Support Services Agent Supervisor and is located in Sandersville, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Establishes child support obligations and ensures they are met.
• Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact.
• Manages a caseload to ensure child support obligations are met.
• Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with two years of direct job‑related experience, or one year of experience at the lower‑level Child Support Services Agent 1 (SST060) or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of direct job‑related experience, or two years of experience at the lower‑level Child Support Services Agent 2 (SST061) or equivalent.
