Child Support Services Agent 2

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to join the Division of Child Support Services in McDonough, GA. Under broad supervision, the agent will establish and enforce child support obligations, coordinate activities with legal and public organizations, and may serve as a lead worker.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents.
• Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations.
• Conduct administrative hearings and manage a caseload to ensure obligations are met.
• Communicate with clients via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with two years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree, or one year of experience at the lower‑level Child Support Services Agent 1.
• Ability to manage a caseload and perform professional responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
