Chemical Delivery/Flow Control Device Quality Engineer

About the role

The Chemical Delivery COE Quality Representative provides independent quality oversight for chemical and gas delivery hardware, ensuring technical quality, reliability and compliance throughout development and production.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Design Engineering Authority and Reliability to identify and mitigate technical quality risks from concept through release.
• Develop and review qualification, validation and inspection plans covering flow accuracy, leak integrity, cleanliness, material compatibility and software behavior.
• Lead structured problem‑solving for development, manufacturing, supplier and field issues, ensuring corrective‑action effectiveness.
• Maintain a quality action register tracking issues, risks, containment, corrective actions and effectiveness evidence.
• Provide technical quality input for supplier audits, non‑conformance reviews and configuration control.

Required skills

• Experience with mass flow controllers, flow ratio controllers, liquid flow controllers, vaporizers and ultra‑high‑purity valves.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, PMECA, FAI, PQP, SPC, DOE and reliability statistics.
