About the role
We are looking for solo CDL‑A drivers who hold a Hazmat endorsement to operate a dedicated local lane inside California. The lane averages 854 miles per week and runs Friday to Tuesday, with shift start times between 14:00 and 23:00 and workdays of 10‑14 hours. The role offers an annual salary of $81,000‑$87,100, a paid 6th day, and optional work on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the assigned local lane, covering roughly 854 miles each week.
- Perform drop/hook and live load/unload operations, including hazardous‑material shipments.
- Start shifts between 14:00 and 23:00 and adhere to the 10‑14 hour workday schedule.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
- Recent trailer‑driving experience with a good employment record.
- Clean driving record (no more than two accidents or violations in the past three years).
- Drug‑free status; SAP candidates are not accepted.
- Willingness to work the optional paid 6th day and holiday shifts.
