About the role

Meijer is hiring a Cake Decorator in Franklin. The person selected will prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions and fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage cake out-dates daily.
  • Receive and process cake orders.
  • Manage cake and icing inventory.
  • Manage the cake decorating station, including preparing icing and following all sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
  • Stock and maintain product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
  • Possibility of working in the deli and bakery areas.

Required profile

  • Ability to work efficiently and pay extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Desire to work consistently with customers.
