Business Intelligence Analyst II

About the role

Motive, which provides a platform for fleets and field operations, is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst II for its Post Sales organization. You will partner with Customer Support and product teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics, build scalable dashboards and give leadership visibility into key business KPIs. The role suits someone with strong SQL, Salesforce analytics and data visualization skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using HEX, Retool and Salesforce native reporting tools.
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyze large datasets across multiple systems.
• Partner with Customer Support, Product, Services and Sales Engineering leaders to turn business needs into clear data requirements and insights.
• Drive data consistency and accuracy so leadership can see KPIs clearly.
• Provide deep-dive analyses to spot trends, opportunities and process improvements.
• Build scalable, automated reporting solutions and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Work with data engineering and BI teams on data sources, definitions and governance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Strong business acumen and KPI knowledge for pre- and post-sales functions such as support, sales engineering, services, customer onboarding and customer support.
• Experience supporting Customer Support, Services or Sales Engineering organizations.
• Ability to present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for querying and data transformation.
• HEX or Retool for dashboard development (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
• Python or R for data manipulation and automation.
