Business Development Representative

About the role

Runway is building AI‑driven world models that merge art and science. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to expand our outbound motion and support the GTM Sales team across Enterprise and Mid‑Market.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with GTM Sales to research, prioritize and engage target accounts.
• Develop outbound campaigns across email, phone and other channels, crafting personalized messaging.
• Generate qualified pipeline and schedule meetings for Enterprise and Mid‑Market account executives.
• Experiment with messaging, targeting and sequencing to improve engagement.
• Maintain detailed activity notes in CRM and share prospect feedback to inform product and GTM strategy.
• Over time, manage and close select SMB or expansion opportunities, gaining full‑cycle sales exposure.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Research‑driven, curious about AI and creative tooling, and comfortable engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
• High ownership, initiative and ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience in sales development, customer‑facing or growth roles.
• Background selling into creative, marketing, mid‑market or enterprise accounts.
• Experience running discovery calls or closing smaller deals is a plus.
