Box Office Representative

About the role

The Event Ticket Seller (Box Office Representative) executes ticket transactions at Little Caesars Arena, reconciles daily sales and carries out other clerical duties. The position involves handling single-game and event ticket sales, phone orders and customer inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle single game/event ticket sales at the box office and phone center
• Handle ADA phone orders and answer customer questions
• Distribute will-call tickets for events and games
• Inform patrons about events, games and ticket policies
• Assist with printing and processing season and group ticket orders
• Reconcile and balance the daily checkout log
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months of related experience and/or training
• Knowledge of customer service principles and excellent verbal and written skills
• Preferred: experience in the sports and entertainment industry and knowledge of the Ticketmaster system

Working conditions include irregular and extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays, exposure to high noise levels, and regular exposure to facility environments, outdoor weather, chemicals, electricity and moving mechanical parts. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent sitting.
