About the role

Northwestern Pritzker School of Law invites applications for tenured or tenure‑track faculty positions at the associate or full professor level, with an expected start before the 2027‑28 academic year. The role is a full‑time appointment focused on excellence in legal scholarship and teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate law courses and supervise student research.
• Conduct high‑quality scholarly research and publish in leading law journals.
• Participate in departmental service, including curriculum development, faculty committees, and community outreach.

Required profile

• J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent terminal degree in law or a related field.
• Distinguished academic record with evidence of outstanding scholarship or strong potential.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and contribution to the law school community.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive base salary: $225,000‑$300,000 for associate professors; $360,000‑$450,000 for full professors (annual, USD).
