Associate Director, Neuro Thought Leader Liaison – South Region

About the role
The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) will lead strategic engagement with national, regional and emerging key opinion leaders in rare neurological diseases across the South United States. Reporting to the Director of TLLs, Neurology, the role provides commercial oversight, insight generation and support for launch planning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive KOL engagement plans, building trusted relationships with neurologists, neuromuscular specialists, rehabilitation physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Capture, synthesize and communicate customer insights that shape brand strategy, messaging, evidence generation and launch planning.
- Lead planning and execution of commercial advisory boards, partnering with Marketing and Medical Affairs to develop compliant objectives.
- Recruit, develop and manage a high‑performing physician speaker bureau, overseeing onboarding, training and performance evaluation.
- Design strategic engagement plans for major neurology congresses, coordinating thought‑leader meetings and gathering competitive intelligence.
- Support launch readiness by identifying educational gaps, assessing market dynamics and informing peer‑to‑peer educational strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, MSN, MS) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare, with 3‑5 years in Thought Leader Liaison, Product Marketing, Specialty Sales, Medical Affairs or commercial field leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals or neurology.
- Strong understanding of commercial compliance and promotional regulations.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with strong project‑management abilities.
