Associate, Communications and Marketing

About the role

The Communications and Marketing Associate drives strategic execution for Converge Strategies' communications and events across a fast‑moving, multi‑project environment. You will shape event strategy, manage the firm’s digital presence, and own work plans from kickoff to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project leads to define purpose, objectives, and audience for conferences and events, set impact goals and track metrics.
• Design, coordinate, and order event materials; manage technology integration, vendor and venue coordination, and on‑site execution.
• Create and publish social media content on LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, edit copy, produce graphics and short videos.
• Manage website content end‑to‑end, draft the firm newsletter, and use analytics to optimize outreach.
• Develop presentations, work plans, monitor budgets, and handle vendor RFPs and contracts.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in communications, events coordination, public affairs, marketing or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, political science or related discipline.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to translate complex topics for professional audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, anticipate risks and deliver solutions independently.
