Assistant Site Director – After‑School Program

About the role

Apollo After School is seeking Assistant Site Directors to support the implementation of its curriculum‑based after‑school program in Weehawken, NJ. The position is seasonal, aligning with the 2026‑2027 school district calendar, and involves overseeing daily operations from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high‑quality learning environment and manage extended‑day activities.
• Coordinate daily program logistics and ensure child safety and security.
• Supervise before‑ and after‑school program staff and maintain accurate attendance, incident, and inventory records.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and build positive relationships with school personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience working with school‑age youth (ages 4‑10) in a school or after‑school setting.
• At least six months of management experience supervising five or more employees.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
