Art Adjunct Instructor – Online

About the role

The State of Georgia, through West Georgia Technical College, seeks an Art Adjunct Instructor to deliver online courses on a term‑by‑term basis. This part‑time position supports students in both theory and practical applications of art while maintaining current industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, standardized syllabi, and required documentation for credited technical/occupational art courses.
• Teach art courses in an online environment, evaluate student progress, and measure learning outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of art trends, attend professional development, and submit outcome reports to the department chair.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Art or a related discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred). Additional preferred qualifications include a PhD in Art, post‑secondary teaching experience, and experience in online or hybrid instruction.
